Mark Brown
One of London’s most in-demand musicians
About Mark
Mainly known for his work in The Horne Section, Mark is also one of the most in-demand musicians in London.
He has been a member of Robbie Williams’ band for 12 years, playing saxophone guitar and keyboards at gigs around the world.
He is also a busy session musician, and has played on hit records for George Ezra, Liam Gallagher, Florence & The Machine, Girls Aloud, Lianne La Havas, John Newman, Rizzle Kicks, Madness and toured with Disclosure, Craig David, Basement Jaxx, Placebo, Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, The Wombles and many others, often as part of The Atlantic Horns.
Alongside this he is a founder member of the soul collective Soul Family, and performs in the acid jazz signed jazz soul combo The Filthy Six.
The Horne Section
Mark is a founder member of the musical comedy juggernaut The Horne Section.
Conceived in 2010, a tiny experimental show at the Edinburgh Festival has ballooned into a mainstay of British comedy, spawning a much loved podcast, three BBC Radio 4 series, and a critically acclaimed Channel 4 sitcom – imaginatively titled The Horne Section TV Show – and TV appearances including Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and Crouchy’s Year-Late Euros with Peter Crouch and Maya Jama.
They can also be caught live touring the country in theatres and beyond.
